Default Differences between 1932 and 1934 4 cyl engines

Are there any differences between the blocks, pistons and crankshafts of a 1932 and later (say 1934) 4 cylinder engines? In other words, are they the same engines? How can you tell the differences in the years of manufacture by looking at the engines?

Some of the early 32 Model B motors had thecrank without counter weights the later motors until end of production were counter weighted . Some had weights added and others were integeral cast with the crank.

The counter weighted crankshaft came out in late '32 and continued through the end of production in '34 (not including spares and replacements which were produced for several more years). The timing cover, crank pulley and water pump changed in '33 (the new components made for a shorter engine). The motor mount also changed in '33. The generator was different but interchangeable. The quickest way to tell the year would be by the water pump and timing cover.
