Default 32 Seat adjuster position?

Finally found a. 32 Tudor driver's seat adjuster. (Thanks, Ted!)
From this picture, it looks as if it goes on the right side of the seat bottom, toward the center of the car. There is a hole in the sub-floor channel that is about 3 1/2" in from the seat track. The wood frame actually has several sets of holes in it, so that's not conclusive.

Can anyone confirm that this is correct, or not?

Thanks!

The one in your photo looks amiss somehow. The one below may also helpful.

I didn't take any measurements, but here is an original 1932 Sedan seat that I sold a few years back.... I think you can see where the adjuster bolts to the back of the the seat and the spring attaches.

Thanks, everyone!
Finally have it installed, and no more uncontrolled sliding. What a difference!
