Default 40 Ford K&N Air Filter

Has anyone found a K&N element that will fit the 40 Ford car canister. Sure would beat that stock horse's hair element.

I don't have time to look right now, but I believe there is a dimensional chart online at the end of their catalog. Report back! Neat idea!

I know you asked about K&N but you might try here. A good, quality paper filter.

I found the K&N # E-3237 fits the '40 air cleaner perfectly. The only thing I had to do was cut off the stock #10-28 stud and weld on another about a half inch longer because the filter was ever so slightly taller. Works perfectly and a great stock looking upgrade over that horse hair piece of crapola. Will keep all of that airborne dirt out of the engine too.
