Your Thoughts on this one.
As you can see from the picture my car is tilting to the drivers side. I've checked the centre bolt in the rear spring and it is in the crossmember. The shocks are installed and the frame is straight and level. Tire pressures are good any idea's?

Re: Your Thoughts on this one.
Very common problem. The drivers side springs are sagging from the drivers weight all these years. Just turn them around.

Re: Your Thoughts on this one.
Lean to the side is caused by friction between spring leaves. Give the front and rear springs a heavy dosing with WD40 so it gets between the leaves. Spring covers soaked with 140 gear oil will do wonders to fix the lean and improve the cars ride.

Re: Your Thoughts on this one.
It could be that the U-bolts on the drivers side of the springs were tightened more than the passenger side . Just a guess .

However... WD-40 is primarily a solvent, it's not really designed to cling and lubricate. Does this really work? Would it work better with, e.g., a spray-based silicone lubricant? |
