1928 ford model a leatherback

we are considering a 1928 ford 4 door leatherback purchase. it appears to be in good condition, it is emerald green with yellow wheels, and black top. what should i look for when i see it, and what is the worth of these vehicles. i own 3 pontiacs from the 60's and we are considering this for my wife. any and all info would be helpful. thanks andy
