I agree, George. I also hope that the frequent posters will join the new forum. I've been driving the same '31 Tudor since 1967, and Fordbarn is the closest I can come to hanging around the local garage with my dad's friends back when I was in high school (when you could still buy 4.75/5.00 x 19 tires off the shelf at the local Firestone store.) Let's keep it going, shall we?

I'm here, but I have no idea what to do, so I'll watch and maybe learn. This is better than losing everything!

This is the Palace Cafe in Falls City Texas. Was opened in 1928 as a gas station. The picture inside of the opening shows the employees in white shirts, bow ties and a 28 Phaeton sitting in th drive. They had the best hand made hamburger Ihahad in a long time.

John, You have had your car a long time. I was born in 1967. :-) I love the smell of the old gas stations. I worked in my uncles gas station when I was in high school. Full service! "Sir, could I check your oil and fill up your windshield fluid." The smell of old oil and grease reminds me of my kind uncle.
