Default Need help - Identifying rear trunk/steel with side door access

Howdy -

Recently came across a '31 Tudor with a rear trunk that has access from the side door only. Obviously period correct handle, no brand markings, steel body with a slightly bowed top supported by bows of wood. Very cool package. The door is on the passenger side - thank you for safety!

Any ideas as to brand or rarity? Also when I checked the body number on the cross member - it starts with a "T", perhaps Canadian built at the Toronto plant.
# T27994. Not a dimple dash, standard Tudor in all appearance except the trunk and dual sidemounts.
The block number was not very legible but stamped without an "A" at the beginning - Canadian all around?

Any input much appreciated.

Thanks -

Be well -

Update -

the '31 Tudor sold recently and along with it came this unique trunk.

Good deal all around IMHO.

Side access door would be handy, if it was POURING RAIN!

And, if you didn't want to undo the straps..... Buster could jump in there but a closed space wouldn't be right for him

Wonder if it could be flipped around to have passenger side access?

Golf clubs?, like some of the high end coups and roadsters had in the rear quarter panels.
