I wish I could go, but I have to work. Is this swap meet always during the week? Do they ever put one on over the weekend?

This meet has always been in May, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Just using the Hershey dates this one time.
I'm planning on hitting Carsile on Thursday, Friday then the Eastern race car museum swap meet on Saturday. Monday evening set up at Luray. Thursday head to the Chassing SS cars swap meet in N.C.
When at Carsile I'll slip over and visit the Hershey museum.
Going to make the best of the situation.

Luray is always a great event, not big but good. The people at the VFW have a food stand so you won't go hungry. Over the years have purchased may items at very fair prices. Great place to sell a car if you have one.

We just signed up for a vendor space at the swap meet in Luray. So far they have 68 vendors signed up with new requests coming in each day. It is pay-at-the-gate for vendor so they are anticipating many last minute drive-ups . It sounds like it is going to be a great event. We'll be bringing a selection of petroliana (oil cans, signs, etc), Ford Model A and T advertisements, car clocks and clock mirrors and lots of other pre-war automobilia, etc....

Went today and even drove my Coupe the 50 miles. Met up with several club members and had a good time and good discussions! Lots of T parts and good A parts.

The 21 Packard was a very nice car. Did not sell yet. Big crowd on Tuesday, Wednesday was good till about noon. A parts were plentiful. I picked up a nos Day/Night mirror accessorie for a model A.
Some original 30/31 hub caps. A nice Jewel meter for my T coil tester. A nice 29 rolling chassis with working shocks sold for $500 front axel with like new wishbone and perches for $25
6 transmission cases $5 each. These small meets can produce some good stuff.

I loved the 1910 Model T touring. Too rich for my blood, beyond my capabilities plus I have another T I am working on, so I have enough to do. Still, with $ and space, that would be a good project for someone. I think the asking price was too high. I wonder whether it sold?

I was there late tuesday and wednesday, I really enjoyed talking to everyone and I brought home a pile of parts for my off road A project including 4 21 inch wheels at $10 each. Looked in a trash can and found a hand operated wiper on a piece of windshield frame, I needed one of those, dumpster diving at a meet, oh well. Enjoyed talking to a guy who drove his T across country last year, fun time. I will try and go to the regular one next April.
