Default 32 Rumbleseat and Decklid Assembly?

Hey Gang: Need to install the rear deck lid and rumble seat cushion (mounts to it). What is the right procedure?

1) Put lower cushion out
2) Mount deck lid and adjust
3) Mount rear cushion to deck lid
4) Install lower cushion?

Just wondering the easiest way? I'm short on time to make a show, so every half hour counts!

Thanks!

Dale

sounds like the plan. I would do it your way. It would be hard to assemble with the cushion on and the lower in the way. Good Luck.

Especially given that the bottom of the back cushion spring frame needs to be attached to the rumble lid inner panel. It is not just held in place by the back of the bottom cushion.

Thanks guys! Given the tight timeframe to get this car to the Cleveland Autorama, I didn't have time to try it twice . . . or screw it up!

I'll post pictures later - it will be in a section for early/vintage cars/hotrods - called the 'Dirty Dozen'. If any of you are going to the show - please stop by and say 'Hi!'
