old school flathead...
If you go on to Maine craigslist Walt Duponts son Rick has the famed dragster up for sale. Vehicle pop's up when you type in the title or "old school flathead" the drivetrain and flathead alone are worth the asking price.

Re: old school flathead...
Thanks for the heads up. I think Rick is Walt's son in law. He helps out Walt in the shop. Walt used to run that at Winterport ME.

Re: old school flathead...
Add some lights and bumpers and that thing would probably be "street-legal".

Glad it's far away or I might just go after it. How much fun would that be?

Re: old school flathead...
I think they call it 'provanance' or something like that, but if the vehicle's history is anything like this dragster's, it's worth Way more... Wow, Ol' Ron's flathead dragster. It should be in the Dearborn Museum. Or in your living room.

I love the two person seat! It would drive that around my neighborhood like a go-cart!
