1929 front sheel metal installation

My dad and I are getting ready to install front fenders, radiator splash apron and hood shelves on his 1929 roadster pickup. We did not disassemble this truck, so we have no reference for re-assembly. Can someone step us through the sequence of part assembly? We have running boards and splash aprons on now and fender webbing installed on the frame. Front fender irons and bumper brackets are also in place. The radiator is installed but the shell is not. What goes on next? Does the bolt at the very front of the fender flange go into the D-nut on the front of the radiator apron? Does the bolt that goes into the back D-nut in the radiator apron go through the hood shelf and fender? The fender has a metal bracket (looks like a cage for a square nut) welded to it at this hole - is this just to space the hood shelf at the right height or does some sort of nut go into that bracket? Any photos would be appreciated. Thanks guys - with any luck, we'll be going for a ride soon.... <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |
