Default 31 Slant Window TS dome light wire

I used to have a diagram of how the dome light wire in a Slant Window Town Sedan ran from the switch to the light. Does anyone have a picture of an original with the headliner out or how you replaced it?

If you don't have time to do it right the 1st time, how do you have time to do it the 2nd time?

These photos show the dome light wire routing in my Victoria which is similar to the routing in a slant window Fordor.

The wire clips were originally made of black cardboard that looks like the backer-board of the upholstery panels. I made mine from plastic cut from empty one-quart plastic oil containers. The clamps are tacked to the wood body side rail.

The original ground wire had too much resistance for my liking, so I ran a yellow ground wire to a front cowl header bolt.

The dome light in my car has been converted to warm-white LEDs. Don't forget the steel wire guard over the wires dropping down to the switch. The guard prevents upholstery nails from puncturing the wires.

Brian:
Do you have a picture of the dome light mount frame?
I found one at an old junkyard that says '31 slant town sedan...but can't seem to get it to fit right.
Wondering if it's misidentified.
Made my own but would like to get a correct one in there.
You can see my homemade one...last pic.

These pictures show the dome light in my Victoria. The installation of the wood light mount is the same as in the slant-windshield Fordor.

Keith I noticed your junkyard light says "Model A 4 Door". Doesn't mention slant window. Could it be for a '30/31 Town Sedan (Flat Window)??

The dome light on the right is for slant-windshield Victorias and Fordors, and the one the left is for straight-windshield Fordors. The second photo shows the backside of the dome light mount. These photos were copied from the internet, but I don't when or where.

The first photo showing the two styles of dome lamps is my photo, from one of my old ads in the FordBarn Swap Meet section. In case someone is interested, I still have several original dome lamps available, just haven't advertised them lately. I also have extra original lenses and parts in case someone just needs a part and not a complete lamp assembly.
