Default 1929 closed cab pickup windshield mounting

Can any one tell me how the windshield was mounted on a 1929 CCPU. The header is steel and Snyders shows WOOD SCREWS in a kit. Mine looks like you could use 1/4-20 bolts and nuts and fasten to the header or am i missing a piece of wood that sits inside of the steel header? Thank you for any help.

There are a series of round head machine screws that attach the windshield hinge to the cab header. Wood screws are not used to attach the windshield in the CCPU.
