Default A and AA side mirror mounts
Is the windshield post mounts for truck mirrors the same on A and AA? I had a '30 CCPU with hinge mount mirrors.

My '31 A Pickup has hinge mount mirrors.

I have threaded inserts on the windshield posts on passenger and driver sides on the '29. The reason I asked is that the cab was assembled from parts and pieces

The mirror on early 1929 CCPU trucks was mounted above the upper hinge using the same fasteners as the LH side of the sun visor. This was the same location as used on the earlier AA trucks.

The 82-A closed cab was used on A and AA commercial vehicles through June 1930. The 82-B closed cab was used on A and AA commercial vehicles starting June 1930 and the side view mirror was attached over the left upper door hinge.
