Default Brake Master cylinder 40

I recently purchaced a master cylinder for the 40 and I have noticed threads on the forum talking about some of these things sticking and holding the brakes depending upon where they were made.

Is there a way to bench test a unit or check it out before I install it to see if it is ok?

photos?

thanks in advance.

Inside ther are 2 holes, one is larger, the smaller one is the compensating port, the piston cup has or move back enough to open it to release pressure--- a small wire can be gently used as a feeler to see if piston cup exposes it---- another way is to watch for the little squirt as the pedal is pushed slowly ( don't put face over it till you have tried it to see if it sprays out)
