How many body mount brackets are attached to the frame from the cowl back on a '30 Tudor Sedan?

only one at the front door post. there is two 3/8" carriage bolts.

Here's a picture of the two bracket locations - one on each side. Each bracket has two holes for the bolts that go thru the rear holes in the cowl wood body block.
