ECZ-A is a 4bbl intake and original to a 1956 292 or 312 with a '56 Holley 4000 carb (I don't have its casting number handy)
Possibly 272 also??? but I doubt it.

The '55 4bbl intake manifolds had an ECB-B casting number with the choke thermostat mounted on the passenger/right side of the intake manif.

If you'll be using it with a '56 carburetor you'll also need a '56 distributor unless you have a newer or after-market 'mechanical timing advance only' distributor.
OR, modify the '56 carb to work with a later distributor. See this link...
