1934 Brake Drums, Backing Plates
City:
Greeley, 18425
State:
Pennsylvania
Price:
$500
This set of brakes have less than 23,000 miles on them. The previous owner of my dad's sedan took the mechanicals off in place of hydraulics in 1954, and they sat in his basement since. I just went over them with some soap and water for a bit to clean most of the dirt and grease off for pictures. There's four backing plates with all of the internals, as well as four drums.
I measured one of the rear drums with a steel ruler and caliper. The 12 inch ruler doesn't fit the inside diameter. A caliper on the brake surface to the edge of the first lip is 11/32 wide. They still have shiny black Ford paint on them, with minimal wear and no pitting anywhere. I can't upload pictures on here or at the Jalopy Journal for some reason, so for the time being, message me for pictures and I'll email them. Pictures will do them justice. I have no clue as to how much they'd cost to ship due to their weight, but they can be delivered to Hershey next fall. Mark at Nostalgic Restorations 570-685-2680 |
