Default changing brake cam support

Does the brake shaft have to be disconnected from the band and pulled completely out in order to change the brake cam support.
Same question for the clutch and reverse.

You have to pull the hogs head to replace the low(clutch) cam. This part;
https://www.modeltford.com/item/3428.aspx it's riveted to the shaft which needs to be supported when the rivet is driven out. Also, the shafts go thru them so yes the pedals need to be removed. You might be able to get to the head of the bolt thru the door for the brake cam, but don't think you could for reverse. Don't loose the bolts, they are special thin headed ones.
