1930 Town Sedans
Did they make more Briggs bodied or Murry bodied Town Sedans that year?

Re: 1930 Town Sedans
Unfortunaltly I think the 1930 Town Sedans (155-C Murray and 155-D Briggs) were all grouped together in the 1930 assembly records. They were introduced December 31, 1929.
USA Production was 104933 Forign Production was 12476 Canada Production was 5125 Total 1930 production was 122534 Pluck Last edited by Steve Plucker; 10-21-2013 at 08:22 PM. |

Re: 1930 Town Sedans
FWIW I did a poll on body styles for TS's and it came back with 32 Briggs and 42 Murry's. For some reason I rarely see brigg's bodied sedan parts or cars. It may be a regional thing where out here we got more Murry's than Briggs.

NZ got about half of the amount, all Murray types as Canada did not assemble or market Briggs TS's or Standards. I am sure Canada would have got in a few Briggs if they needed to. 5125 seems a low total figure for 1930, even though the Canadian domestic market was not large. Where does this figure come from?
