Default 1953 ford flathead v8 postive cable to engine

where does the positive cable connect to the engine? Does anyone have a picture or diagram showing it connected on the engine. I had the engine rebuilt and didn't take a picture of it.

Is the length of the cable a clue to where it attaches?

The battery in a '53 Ford Sedan is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment
as opposed to the picture shown above. I think mfirth in his post #4 is correct. The connection
of the positive cable from the battery is to the water pump bolt....

Technically, it can be connected anywhere there is a big bolt and a clean connection. My '51 Merc has a boss near the front driver's side exhaust port that works well.
