Default Diamond block fuel pump

Well I picked up this diamond block out of a '31 this guy was hot rodding. It's going in my '29 wagon. I have a question about a fuel pump for this engine. It has a block off plate and the eccentric is there on the cam. Who sells a fuel pump for this engine. I've tried searching on line but still not sure what I'm looking for. Any help in this would be great.

Isn't that a "B"motor and not an "A".

Yep, it's a diamond B with a cut oil pan for the flywheel cover.
Unless you are using a low tank or a downdraft carb, you shouldn't need a fuel pump.

Yes I'm doing both. I don't want to run an electric.

The correct, rebuilt, original pumps carry a crazy price tag ($400?). There must be a repro out there or someone that can rebuild an aftermarket pump. I would start with rennerscorner.com, (734) 428-8424.

Volvo b20 fuel pump fits right on you just need to modify the pump lever some, sells on e-bay for about $40.. Cheaper and looks almost the same

Birch, I use to service write at an independent Volvo garage many moons ago. So B20 is a very familiar thing to me. Do you know what kind of modification must be done to pump?

You need to change the angle on the pump lever a bit, it's a simple cut, bend, weld operation. I don't remember how to post pics but if you Google the pumps you will see the differences
