Well we where in the USA last week for 5 swap meets in 10 days & guess what one of the $97 1 ton lifts are on its way too NZ , just needed a light one to move engines around in one shed , save me transporting them from shed too shed . Plus it held the rental van on the highway better ?

Well I went to HF with the $100 discount coupon from Katy and they did not have any, and they could not tell me when they would get more. I asked to take the floor model and they said no. I had them call some of the other stores close enough to drive to and they did not have any.

I complained to the manager and ended up with a 2 ton for $135.99. So I was happy.

Yep, you really did good. I've never seen the 2 ton go under $179 on sale.
I wanted the one ton, as it is a bit smaller and will do all I need it to.

There price goes back and forth, when I needed a hoist they were $139, so I rented one, $35, when it came time to refit my engine they went down to $99, guese where I went in a hurry, I suppose I have my own now for $65.

Yes, wrong one. The one ton is the same price...haha. They don't seem to have the one ton on sale out here. That's OK my old one works fine. Not folding tho.

Katy posted the 1 ton sale ad in #20, so you can print the ad or write the coupon number down and take that in.

I just got home from the metal yard and H/F, and H/F has a sale going on this weekend with $1, $2, $3, and $4 boxes of stuff. They have stethoscopes and test lights in the $3 box. They also have the 5 piece brass coupler set and 4 piece socket adaptors for $3.

I bought the 1-ton hoist using the $99 coupon. Ended up with a 2-ton since Ken had it and it took too much space in his shop. We traded!

BTW, both fold up for storage, you don't have to leave the long legs sticking out.

Then used the 20% off coupon and bought a 1-ton engine stand. Now I have to go pull the engine on the A when I get back into town!

Sometimes the BEST HF coupons are in magazines, like you local electric co-op, veterans magazines, gun magazines. They try to attract NEW business in those mags.

If you don't get the coupon in the mail or on line, then maybe just writing the coupon number on a piece of paper will work. I did that once because my printer doesn't work. One clerk refused it, but a couple days later another clerk took it just fine.

I have had a HF 1 ton now for a couple of years. Works great and the fold up feature is nice to have.
