Have you had any experience with Taylor 8mm Spiro Pro plug wires?

Re: Taylor Plug Wires
Richard, have them on my 276, work fine on the test stand but haven't used them under road conditions yet.

Re: Taylor Plug Wires
Richard,
I have been using the Taylor wires for several years in my 8cm, initially with a Mallory Dual Point Distributor and now with the Pertronix 6 Volt electronic ignition. I have had zero problems with performance. I recommend them. Richard

Re: Taylor Plug Wires
I've used them on my last several flatheads along with a GMC Bubba converted Chevy distributor.

Re: Taylor Plug Wires
I bought Taylor Spiro Pro Wire 8MM Silicone for my 8BA and they work just fine. You buy a kit and then cut the wires and install ends to fit you engine.

Re: Taylor Plug Wires
I used Taylor 8MM wires for several years with no problems, but like the looks of The Pertronix 7MM wires with the stock looking 90 degree boots much better, and have switched to them on both my flatheads, along with the FE/'40 in progress.
7MM “Stock-Look” Plug Wires Now you can get a "stock-look" spark plug wire, that performs! We've designed these wires with the same core that we use in our 8mm wire. The only real difference is the 7mm flat black silicone jacket that hides its performance potential from the naked eye. Get the best of both worlds with "state-of-the-art performance and a stock look." These wires will fit most original wire looms. Select a custom tailored set for a great out of the box fit or a universal kit to match your unique engine and wire loom configuration. Features
Universal 7mm “Stock-Look” spark plug wire kits featuring 90° or straight spark plug boots. Each universal set includes terminals to fit both male and female terminal distributor caps. Last edited by V8 Bob; 08-14-2013 at 08:51 AM. |

Re: Taylor Plug Wires
The 7mm V8 Bob suggests look like they will work just fine. I like the stock look.
