Re: Scary picture
When I bought my lift, I looked into both 2 and 4 post. My brother has 2-4 post lifts and really likes them but, in the end, I just didn't have room for a 4 post so went with a 2 post. They both have their pro's and con's and, in a perfect world, I would have one of each. When lifted properly, you are not taking any chances with a 2 post. To suggest otherwise is like saying that a 4 post is risky because the car could roll of the end. If I had it to do all over again and room wasn't an issue, i would still go with a 2 post but there are times when a 4 post would be better. Safety just isn't one of the factors.

Re: Scary picture
There are attachments that go under the tires for the 2 post lifts. they work OK. depending on work to be done. The old single posts with H beam heads do a good job of lifting at the axles. Getting to the frame often requires some fabrication or special adapters for any hoist except for the single post which generally NLA. No longer available because they are almost always "air over oil " lifts that eventually leal oil into the soil.

Re: Scary picture
As y-block mentioned in #9 what's up with that breather cap? Never seen one before. What's it's purpose?
