Default 4spd OD on a flathead in a 1932 Ford. Pt.3. Custom clutch disc.

In this video I make some progress with the conversion of a Volvo M410 transmission with overdrive to fit in my 1932 Ford. The one stipulation is that I don't want to cut the original K member. After lots of head scratching I realise the clutch disc I had isn't going to work. That opened up an opportunity for an alternative solution. Have a look and see what I came up with.

Hay Mart: One issue that is worth checking out is will there be enough room for the throw-out bearing sleeve (before it hits the clutch disc) and will the throw-out bearing have enough "throw" to properly disengage the clutch - or will things be too tight with the extended clutch disc setup you've created?

I have investigated clutch release travel and all seems well.
Thanks for the interest and thoughtful comments.

Sounds great Mart! I like the project and hope it turns out well for yah. Given how things are going so far, it sure looks like you'll figure it out. Making a new shifter setup should be interesting, but Hey . . . just more fabrication and at-home engineering . . . you'll sort it out!
