Default Air Filter Element for '57 E-code Passenger Car

Does anyone know of a modern filter that can be used in the round dual quad housing for a '57 passenger car? There's an original Ford element (part # B7A-9601-G1) listed on eBay for $250 which is certainly too rich for my blood.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/275130053135

Measurements are 14.79 ID - 17.34 OD - 2.88 high

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

You can try Felix Natoli on EBAY. His ID is natolibird. He has quite a few things and used to make even the bellcranks.
About ten years ago, I bought an E code pass car filter element from him. He said the T-Bird (thinner) element was more available, and sent me that with a rounds spacer made out of wood to make up the difference in thickness.
I don't remember what I paid, but I know it was reasonable. Nothing like the price you saw.

Much obliged, Sal. He seems like a good guy to know as I'm just starting my e-code escapade.

You might try here -

https://www.ebay.com/itm/132107779134

It gives the correct PN but I would talk directly to the seller as to fit and source/quality.

Have an inquiry in with the seller. Thanks!

Seller hasn't replied. Feedback shows a tendency to be uncommunicative and to list items he doesn't actually have. Think I'll pass, even though price is right.

The picture in the EBAY auction looks like a single 4 barrel air filter element to me anyway. Too tall and not a large enough dia. Unless it's a generic picture.
