Re: Heated Seats In The Model "A"
Electric seat warmers!. How soft have we become? A Model A gets too hot inside now, even in winter so I ask WHY?
Our grandparents used these car on a daily basis and overcame any coolness by dressing appropriately. Seems that level of common sense has not been learned by this generation.

Re: Heated Seats In The Model "A"
Back in college, when I was driving my '29 A coupe to and from classes in 1969, I'd occasionally offer a ride to a young lady and on cold winter mornings stress the need to move closer to me so that we could share the warmth of body heat beneath a blanket. Purely altruistic motive, of course, as I wanted to make sure my passenger was as comfortable as possible. Don't know whether it was the cold or my boyish charm, but I was never turned down on the offer.

Yes, the heat in my 1951 Chevy BelAir wasn't very good on the passenger side. Girls liked to be comfy next to me.

I did not start this post for the joy of the nay sayers, especially those dwelling below the Mason-Dixon Line. If you have no positive contribution, don't spoil this post for others.
