Question Newbie looking for first A

Can you guys recommend website/s good for finding Model A's?
I'm an EBay junkie, having found one of my Mustangs there, familiar with
the MAFCA site and of course, the one here.

It's looking like the Vicky is the way I'm going to have to go to find the
most comfortable fit.

www.hemmings.com, and the Model A Restorer's Club site. www.modelaford.org The Antique Automobile Club of America also has ads in their print publication, and on their web site, but I think you must be a member to see them. I recommend joining. www.aaca.org

Craigslist is a favorite of mine, but CL can have 'landmines'. Caveat emptor.

Here is a '30 R/S Sport(?) Coupe for 4500 (Its not my car). It's one of many A's for sale here in Southern California. I don't know about NM though.

I bought my Model A Town Sedan off of the Hemings website. Usually lots of nice cars there....

Thanks guys! Yes, been looking in Hemmings as well. Current issue has VERY few A's.

1930-Pickup, guessing you didn't see my other post, no way I'm gonna get this fat belly into a coupe or pickup! Guessing my grandfather, Santa Claus, never drove one of those either ❗ Lol

The 2 owner local coupe that began this odyssey, I found on CL. In the past some guy tried to scam me on a Toyota Highlander I was trying to sell, once burned, always scared

BillEbob, Here is a photo of the roadster that I found on the M.A.F.C.A. classifieds. This was a "member to member" transaction that went well. The A has been everything that was claimed. I'm totally satisfied. Russ

I look around the country on Craigslist and there are at least 400 Model A's of all types and conditions for sale over the last month. Many are over priced but I saw some good deals mixed in.

Russ,

YOU (obviously) don't get confused with Santa! This I KNOW if you can fit behind the controls of a roadster!!! Lol

Would LOVE to buy a roadster or even a coupe but there's not enough grease to get me behind the wheel! -

Bill, the previous owner was tall and thin. He removed about 2" from the package tray and leaned the seat back. I'm 5'9" and 175 lbs. and fit comfortably. Happy hunting. Russ

I’m also just starting to look—but I’m looking strictly for a Murray-bodied town sedan. So far Ive seen a couple listed by dealers, but I haven’t seen any in person. I’d much rather buy a project car if possible.

I gained an extra 4 inches in my fordor by removing a carpeted trim panel on the bottom back of the seat and tapping my slides back. I didnt like how close the pedels were.

Leikec -
Please check your private messages in the top right corner of the page for my reply about a 1929 Murray Town Sedan.

Jeff,
At this point in time, I am the exact opposite, after 4 spinal surgeries I have enough "scaffolding" surrounding my spine to start a good sized tower! I'm just looking for one that I can drive and occasionally polish!! After restoring 2 Mustangs I'll be doing good keeping up the regular maintenance on an A.
