Nice photos. I pumped Esso in Cumberland, MD for 18 cents a gallon in 61,62 or 63. As I recall, the station had 3 bays but only one set of pumps. We also rented U Haul trucks and trailers and sold a few old cars. Best memories are the shop 52 Ford pickup and a customers 1961 Chevy 409 which I always had to road test after service. Bob

I like the 50 Coupe' at "Bings Speed Shop". How do you suppose they got the cars up on that pallet rack looking thing? Tom Morookian thanks for posting!!!

flatford8 - I THINK . . . there was a movable table between the two "stacks" of cars. It could traverse the length of the stacks and could be raised to any of the levels. You took it to the pigeon hole with the car you wanted, drove the car onto the table, lowered it to street level, moved it to the end and drove it off. Lots of parking spaces in very little real estate. I know of one place where a similar system was enclosed in a downtown hotel garage. FWIW
