Have your buyer arrange all the transport particulars, you will save yourself a bunch of grief.

Exactly what J Franklin said! If you arrange shipping and something goes wrong ….. You will be the bad guy. There are a few regular shippers on here with a good reputation and helpful advice that you could point out to the buyer. Shipping is the buyers responsibility after all so let them make the decision unless you offered delivery in the sale

Exactly .....

Just loaded up this Porsche Carrera today in Virginia ....

Raining steadily now in Hazelton, Pennsylvania.

Dropping this off in Albany, New York & then headed next to Boston, MA.

Then Toledo, OH.

Then probably back to Pennsylvania to pick up a Stanley Steamer 12 Passenger Mountain Wagon headed to Seattle, WA.

Then pick up a Plymouth Cuda Muscle Car in Seattle & a very special secret
car in Portland, Oregon & head down I-5 to Southern California.

The Cuda is headed to Alabama it I might head back up I-5 to Seattle
and back down again before I head East.

Again, this is the buyers expense and job, not the seller's.

.Substance abuse?
Two phone calls in a row after 10 pm EST just now from this guy.

Two long rambling voice messages.

Paul says he is 85 years old and on social security.

Paul wants someone to haul a 1950 ? Mercury from Portland, Oregon down to
Grants Pass, Oregon to have a $15,000 engine rebuild done the first of the year.

Thinks the $750 charge for the 250 mile one way trip ( from what sounds like a
local tow company ) is ridiculous.

Called him back twice - tried to explain the local tow company is driving both ways - probably over 500 miles - $750 is what they charge for driving 500 miles.

He refuses to comprehend or accept that.

I told him if he can afford to have a $15,000 engine rebuild done,
he can afford to pay someone $750 to take his car down to have it done.

I told him if he can’t afford to do that - perhaps he should sell the car.

I talked to Jim when moving a couple cars and some farm equipment when I moved fl 2 mn. I ending up doing it myself. To be honest, I wish Jim did it. I saved very little and put a strain on my truck and self doing the trips. Overall it was about $3,400 for me multiple trips and open trailer and driving. Think Jim was around 4K. 1800 miles one way.

I don't know Jim, but he was very nice and helpful dude. Called back after a couple days of my message and let me know what his schedule and current runs were. Guess he is a guy that is traveling all over and if he's in your area you are good to go. He expressed that he can haul shop equipment to fill a truck. Good guy in my book.
