Somewhere in my archives copies (but not here in FL) I have the dyno test results for the two '32 engines and both reveal that Ford erred on the conservative side when it came to the published HP ratings. From memory the four was closer to 55 than 50 and the V8 closer to 70 than 60. But the best parts were the torque ratings, which of course is what counts in actually moving the vehicle. The four was almost equal to the V8 which given the weight difference confirms why in a 50 yard dash the Bs outrun the V8s in stock form.
