Re: Who sells frame bolts that look like rivets
A frame riveting party is a good Saturday endeavor for a local club or three or four guys who like to wrench on the antique cars. An ice chest full of cold ones is a prerequisite as well as a torch, some big rivet hammers, heavy duty cribbing, and an assortment of rivet sets & bucking bars made to suit. It's sort of like a barn raising that obligates you to help someone else in the party when they need same.

Re: Who sells frame bolts that look like rivets
A guy in our Model A club has a neat way to rivet. He touches an arc welder cutting rod to the rivet. Turns the entire rivet red hot. Buck it,hit it with the gun and done. I have helped him do this a couple of times.

Re: Who sells frame bolts that look like rivets
The only problem with those is that they are done for looks only. I know when I did my front cross member, I first flattened the rivet holes first for a tight fit and used lock washers and red Loc-Tite and then torqued them to the maximum specified by the manufacturer. When I sold the car about 10 years later, I told the purchaser about the repair. He checked it out closely, and everything was just fine.

Re: Who sells frame bolts that look like rivets
I bought a rivet gun and bucks needed. Have the rivets also from roy. Someday when I finish the few metal work spots on the bed I'll get to it.
