Default Tudor Hidem roof tips

I know some of you guys have used HIDEM welt on your Tudors, instead of gutters for the sides and steel bands for front and back. I put the hidem ALL the way around, all four sides. It doesn't look great, but I'm no metal-worker. So now I need some HIDEM metal tips that can handle welt from two directions, at 90 degrees. I've search the web with no luck. Any ideas?

Thanks

And, if you don't have tips that handle both welts, how did you handle them? Any ideas are appreciated!

I hope so. Perhaps I'm searching under the wrong keywords....

Brattons cat. Page 122-123. Bert's shows them in their cat as well. "Roof drip rail molding tips, Tips front end, welt tip ends.

Chuck....you might try looking up Au-ve-co. That's the company that makes all that stuff. You might also try an Auto upholstery shop in your area.

I don't have a hard copy of the catalog, but when I query their website, all I see is the 'open car' type. I think this is made for a single welt strip, not two like I need. I'll order a catalog and see if they offer more there.... and try Au-ve-co.

Thanks

I just looked around the "net" for you. What you need may not exist or has been discontinued. I just googled Hidem welt tips and a bazillion pictures cam up. You may be stuck with using singles and butting them together. Paint them black so they are not too noticeable. I did find some for Model "T"s that may work. Good luck.
