Default LED turn signals

I bought the led turn signals from Mikes and wondering if anyone has found a good clip to hide the wire under the the bumper brackets. Black nylon ties are quite visible. Thanks

I ran the wires back to the firewall inside the fabric "loom" sold by all the vendors, didn't think the few black wire ties stood out at all. JMO

I used strips of masking tape to hold the wire in place and then applied super glue about every 3/4 inch. The wire is not noticeable and has been held in place quite well.

Ron, I found some large black shrink wrap and cut it into 1/4 inch strips. Slid the wrap over the bumper brackets and ran the wires on the underside of the bracket. Applied light heat to the shrink wrap. I used two pieces of wrap for each bumper bracket.

I used fabric loom as well with black wire ties and am pleased with it. The loom helps hold the wires to the curve of the bracket with the ties placed back under the ends of the fenders at the fame horn and up front against the bumpers with the connectors beneath the bracket. I suppose bailing wire would be more era correct than nylon ties. :-). Seriously though, I have not found any clips that don't look obvious due to the thickness of the bracket requiring a rather large clip. I have not tried it, but thought perhaps gluing the loom to the underside of the bracket would look the least obvious.

You can also use wide plastic tape (similar to electrical tape but wider) and use it lengthwise along the bracket, with the wire along the bottom of the bracket under the tape. Put the tape along one side of the bracket with about half its width, lay the wire along the bottom of the bracket, then fold the tape over to the other side of the bracket. (hope this makes sense)

Ran a wire a few years ago to power a digital depth indicator my boat. I embedded the wire in a small neat stream of clear silicone. Cut some small pieces of electrical tape to stick the back side of the wire down until the silicone setup. Worked slick.....even at the water lever that has 70mph water passing over it. Waterproof nearly invisible solution.

Might work.

That silicone idea should work very well, plus it would protect the wire. Now that slicone is made in black it should be just the ticket. Thank you very much. Ron
