Default 35 to 40 Frame

Is there currently anyone reproducing 35 - 40 frames (replacement for the original)?

For street rods, yes. TCI, Pete&Jakes, Cornhusker... all the usual suspects.

For original, No.

If you decide to go with a replacement frame with a flathead, Cornhusker seems to have the best handle on how to get things to work together.

There is a 39 ford frame on craigslist in Escondido CA for $600.
Lacks the centre bracket but otherwise looks in not bad condition.
Tel 619 316 4733
Might seem like a long way from CA to Ontario but I've bought them a lot further.

I'm actually in Arizona (Lake Havasu City) on holiday now and could go and take a look at any in a days drive (there and back).

Would there be any wrecking yards in Arizona, California or Nevada which typically have a lot of classic parts cars?

Among the good things in the southwest is the low rust factor. I've been challenged out her as parts that we enjoy plenty are described as "thin on the ground" in many areas. We also enjoy an active car culture that makes the preservation of our old cars more practical. Driving the old cars not as lovely while the leadership thinks that we should be on bicycles and is taking needed traffic lanes away in a war on the fossil fueled vehicle. Too late for me to relocate now. Good Luck: Fred A

Thanks to all for your help.

I may have to do a job on the original frame - "what rust lurks under my classic Ford? only the sand blaster knows"
