Default Thank you EFV8 Guys/'35-36 Heads

Last week a posted an ad for an older gentleman, Jim Murphy, of Walpole NH. Jim got my name from the roster as he was hoping to find a replacement iron head for his '35 Coupe as the right side developed a crack and I lived close by. I didn't have one but offered to post an ad here for him. I received multiple responses which I passed to him. Today he called and told me he had a head coming and his car would be on the road in time for him to make the Saratoga Springs meet. I want to thank all the guys who responded since without this site, he may have been more hardpressed to find one on his own. I'm a fairly recent member of the club but have found the V8 guys to be an excellent and helpful group.

Steve,

That's due to the fact that you're a pretty great guy yourself, and karma goes around and finds it's way back to good people. (Boy, that really sounds like a load, doesn't it?) I agree with you though, and as a new V-8er myself, these really are good folks here on this site. Thanks for helping out your neighbor Jim too! See you in Oley.

Steve , The thanks goes to you as this wouldn't have happened but for your involvment . Jim left a message yesterday and sounded pretty pleased about the stuff . Even had an exact match for his good head . I have been pulling cast heads off and putting aluminum back on 33-34's all along and it was good to see him put a cast one back in service . Thanks again for helping Jim . David J
