Front Hub Caps
It has always bothered me that the front wheel bearings are not protected with additional hub caps. I suppose the wheel hub caps should suffice.
I saw these in a surplus store and I tried putting them up to the front wheel hubs to see if they would fit. It appears I would have to increase the lip inner diameter by about 0.020" to make these fit. Have any of you thought had similar thoughts about the front wheel bearings? |

Re: Front Hub Caps
Snyders has the grease cups for sale. Part number A-1138. The parts catalog also tells you how to grind down the bearing retainer washer. $3.25 each

Re: Front Hub Caps
Thanks! I will buy a couple to put on my '29 Tudor.
Have you used these? It seems like a good idea. Note I saw another thread on hub caps and I have posted the question there. |
