Default 1940 top bow source

I need a rear wood bow for a '40 convertible. Wescott told me they are on backorder, lebaron bonney took my order and then canceled it on me. Does anyone know who might actually have one in stock?

There used to be a company in Pennsylvania called Oak Bows and they supplied most of the top wood for convertibles. Not sure if they are still in business or not.

i needed two of three 34 Roadster bows. LB would not break up a set of three bows and sell just two. Oak Bows was happy to sell me the two bows. They shipped quickly and the bows are high quality. Very good company.

Interesting; they must of changed their policy as they refused to sell anything but full sets in the past.

Several years ago I needed just a header for a 32 roadster and they sold me just that?

I bought the wood bows for my 47 convertible from Brad Brown of Friday Harbor WA. Very pleased with his product and service.
