Default 1953 Truck 6 Cylinder

Hi guys I am hoping someone can help me with a problem I am having tearing down a 1953, 215 cid, 6 cylinder. I am trying to seperate the head from the block but, there is a oil tube that runs from a cam bearing in the block to the rockers in the head. Does anyone know how to remove the oil tube with out ruining it. I hate to ruin something only to have to cobble it later.
Thanks,
Tony

That tube has a captive rubber square ring on the bottom. Twisting it back and forth while pulling upward usually does the trick.
