Re: Fords In The Snow
Our two daughters and their uncle Cass sitting on the running board of our 1946 Ford Pickup. The photo was taken years ago on our lake with about 7 feet deep of water under the pickup. After the photo was taken I drove the pick up off the ice because the ice looked to be sagging under the weight of the pickup. I chopped a hole through the ice and it was only 5 inches thick. I would have never chanced it if I would have known that the ice was that thin. The pick up has since been restored.

Re: Fords In The Snow
We don't drive Merlot in the snow anymore. He gets locked away until spring, in a rental garage. However back in the old days when I was a scout leader, we used the pickup to haul our stuff to a winter camp, complete with a bell tent for the boys and me in the small tent to left of the truck, and outdoor cooking. That was in 1965, Byron

February 1967 - my '60 Ford and Mom's '64 Comet:
10 years later, not a Ford but a Buick LeSabre buried in snow: Both pictures were taken in northern Michigan.

Re: Fords In The Snow
Not sure of this one - I found the picture in an old abandoned house in Northern Michigan many years ago so have to assume it is from that area. Not sure of year or model of the car (wish the pic was better!):
