Default Has anyone sold at Turkey Rod Run in Daytona Beach?

I'm interested in selling there, but at $150 a space I don't want to take a leap of faith. So, has anyone here sold at that event at any time during the last few years? If so, was it worthwhile? Because of expenses and time, in order for it to be worthwhile to me I would be looking for thousands in sales, not hundreds.
Thank you.

No, it's a three or four day event. It's a pretty big deal, but I don't know if they're real spenders or just lookers enjoying the weather.

Some are lookers, but there are big spenders as well. You have to get a good spot and where there is traffic.
I would suggest you go look around and see if you could locate a spot that you would be comfortable with. Many use the same spot year after year, so it may be hard to find a good spot. Many of the vendors are close by , so they don't have the expense.

Look around there may be some closer to you that offer as much. The rod run is a huge event.

You are right you have to sell a bunch to off set the 150, plus travel expense 3-4 days in a motel and eats.

I'd be a spectator, probably with my hotrod, if I'd go.

I go every year. It takes one day just to go through the swap meet area and another day to go through the car corral and car show area.

Thanks 38coop. However, I'm trying to find out about how good or bad parts sales are there.

Parts sales there are good. Lot's of new and used part's vendors to choose from,so you may have to be willing to haggle with prices.

Thanks again 38coop. My prices are very reasonable. I'm not running a museum. I want to sell.
