I got this fan with some random parts. And I need a fan for my next engine I'm gonna start building; I can watch for another but I'm curious about this one. It sure looks little, I assumed someone had hacked it to make it fit somewhere. But looking at it closely, it looks factory........or someone did a real nice job cutting it off. Would this have been for any sort of original setup? Don't have much around here to compare to. Thanks!

This is listed as being a 16 inch truck fan--

I believe that fan has been trimmed from a larger original fan. The fan blades with the 8 bolt mounting came as 16” , 17” and 18.5” diameter four blade types.

They were probably trying to make it fit in an early V8 application. You wouldn’t get much air movement with the 14” blades.
