Default 37 parts left over

I have a 37 10 spline driveshaft and torque tube along with a speedo turtle (21) left over from my Mitchell install. All in good shape if anyone needs them. Just shipping for barn members.

Tommy...Man, what a generous offer! Could you do us a favor? Another thread is asking the TOTAL length of a '40 torque tube. I can't find an answer anywhere. Since a '37 tube is identical in length to a '40 t/tube, could you go and accurately measure the overall length of your '37 torque tube? I wouldn't mind having the drive shaft length myself, either. Would it be possible to post a picture of the REAR end of the drive shaft? Thanks, DD

I just installed a 26% cable shift Mitchell in my 4.11 '40 Fordor and have a driveshaft and torque tube if someone in NE wants them. The driveshaft with coupling at the differential end is 68 3/8” and the torque tube is 70”. I can get a pic of the end of the driveshaft tomorrow unless 37 Cab gets one first.
37 Cab, which ratio did you get? I think I recall you said the 36%? That’s a good RPM drop you recorded. I haven’t had mine out on the roads yet due to salt but around my neighborhood the drop is still significant.

Yep... 70" on the torque tube and 68 1/4 on the driveshaft. Here is a picture of driveshaft rear end.

Hey Tommy,
I would love to have those parts if they are still available.

Good on you guys for your willingness to share your extra parts with other members!!

FYI... I'm thinking 37 Cab's driveshaft is the tubular version that was also used on '35 & '36, while DHowse's driveshaft is most likely the solid version that requires a center torque tube bearing, and has a 6 to 6 spline coupler pinned on pinion end.

Mine is as John says, the hollow 10 spline version with no coupler.
