Default Motorcraft Shock ID Help Needed

I stumbled across two Motorcraft heavy-duty shock absorbers that I bought years ago but lost track of what the applications are. I suspect they are late '60s-'70s vintage; they are painted champagne gold in color. Originally I bought them for a '63 T-Bird, but they are not the right application - at least for the fronts. Part numbers are:

AW-10
AW-20

Both have stud-style ends top and bottom: one pair appears to be for the front and has an exposed piston shaft when extended, the other appears to be rear as it has the piston concealed by the upper shaft's tube.

Anyone have a Motorcraft catalog that lists them and what their applications are?
