Default 30 vs 31 front fenders

Is it possible to remove the apron extension on a 30 fender and use it on a 31?

The flange may need to be extended to have enough room to make room for the bolt holes. The flange on some of the 30 fenders I have seen were not long enough to allow for the elongated bolt holes used on the 31. Yes, Ford had oval holes to allow for room with fitting.

Yes but you will need to extend that flange by about .250-.350 where you can drill the holes to bolt the one-piece aprons to.
