tubes
I was lucky enough to buy a set of new inner tubes (19") that have meatal valve stems. I did not get any hardware with them.
My question is... do I have to use the metal piece that holds the valve stem off of the inside of the rim. It looks like a rectangle piece of metal with a hole in it. I saw this in a picture in the MAC'S parts catalog. Sorry for the dumb question but have never had metal stem tubes before. Thanks Kris |

Re: tubes
Yes, it is assembled like this:
http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages...tml?1476898025 Even though the above is a model T, it still shows how the piece you are talking about is used. Here is a video on the Model A: https://youtu.be/nkNTVBPDO7s?t=2m5s

Re: tubes
If you ever get them from Mac's, they probably won't fit.
