FS: 1929 Model A Tudor Sedan

For Sale: 1929 Model A Tudor Sedan. Authentic Bonnie Gray/Chelsea Blue exterior paint. The pin striping, however, is a light-green instead of straw. A very early 1929 example with the emergency brake handle in front of the gear shift lever and a drum taillight. Engine number 885xxx identifies it as a January engine. The firewall assembly line date stamp reads 2/6/29. The VIN on the title matches the engine block number, which begins and ends with a stamped star. Older complete restoration, but the mechanical aspects have been freshened up: engine main and rod bearings adjusted, Snyder's 6.0 cylinder head installed, leakless water pump added, distributor overhauled, new wiring, Aires muffler installed, engine compartment detailed, front end rebuilt (including brakes), seven-tooth steering box rebuilt with new worm and sector, bearings, bushings, steering wheel, etc., 21” wheels sandblasted, primered and sprayed catalyzed black. Shock absorbers and links present. Newer Firestone 21” blackwall tires with newer inner tubes. Original correct electric windshield wiper. Excellent chrome. Correct Lebaron Bonney gray interior for an early 1929 Tudor. Nice top with matching visor cover. Motometer with wings. Good acceleration, top end, handling and stopping. A joy to drive! Not a show car, but still extremely nice. It drives very well and needs nothing but a new owner to enjoy it! Clear Iowa title. Presently on display in a local Ford-only museum. A 1931 Deluxe Phaeton will take its place on the display floor. Otherwise, we'd keep this fine Model A in the Dahl Ford family. $12,500 firm.
