Default flatty trans. and bellhousing

will a 1953 Victoria flat head transmission and bellhousing hook up to anything after 1953? so as small block fords.

transmission will work but the bell housing will not

The Fordomatic transmission itself is interchangeable from 1951 clear up into the '60's where the separate bellhousing was used. But the bellhousing from a flathead will not bolt up to any later OHV engines without an adaptor kit (which are probably long extinct by now).
