Default Aftermarket Fuel Tanks

Will the design of aftermarket fuel tank sender openings allow for a 1/4" enlargement to accomodate original King Seeley fuel senders?

On my 34 I have an aftermarket tank and am running an original (hydrostatic) fuel sender . There is an adaptor kit that allows you to do this. Karl
